i need to find an easy diet plan and recipes to help me lower my potassium

I’ve read conflicting reports and am not sure now. My doctor doesn’t even know about vitamins. Anyone have any experience in this?

CAN ANYONE ENLIGHTEN ME AS TO THE REASON POTASSIUM CHLORIDE FOR WATER SOFTENERS HAS INCREASED SO MUCH. I WAS UPSET LAST TIME I PURCHASED AT A DISCOUNT FOR JUST OVER PER 40 LB BAG. WENT TO LOWES AND JUST ABOUT FELL OVER WHEN THEY TOLD ME THE PER BAG PRICE WAS CORRECT??
I find it hard to believe it is due to trucking costs as the salt products for water softeners are also trucked and they don’t seem to have increased much at all. Most are still around per bag (40-50 lb bags) and I haven’t seen any salt products over per bag yet.

We live in Michigan so I don’t know if the prices are regional or not.

I have been told by doctors I need more potassium in my diet. I know bananas contain it, but they are not always available to me. What other foods contain high amounts of potassium?

I understand this is a question that should be answered by a medical professional however it’s after hours and right now my symptoms aren’t severe enough to go to the ER so any feed back is much appreciated. With that said. I keep getting these muscle twitches in my tummy, legs and on the side of my rib cage that turns into muscle spasms . Are these symptoms of dehydration or high potassium?
I MEANT HIGH IN POTASSIUM
Sorry I did leave out a very important factor. I am on the diuretic altactone which is high in potassium. My dosage was recently increased. I must have eaten something high in potassium. these symptoms started monday.

My mom has essential high blood pressure sometimes reaching over the 200/160 mark. As her blood pressure has been high for a while she has an enlarged right ventricle which will and is leading to CHF. Her breathing is already heavy. Her doctor has given her Betaloc, Plendil, Inhibace, Dosan, Cartia a blood thinner, Lipex for high cholesterol and Quinine for night cramps. She’s in her early 70’s and she complains of head aches, extreme fatigue and loss of energy. She has increasing dark circles around her eyes as if she hasn’t slept in months with shortness of breath like she’s gasping for air. I would like her to try natural remedies because these synthetic drugs don’t appear to be doing much for her overall health. Can anyone advise some really good and effective natural remedies to treat both high blood pressure and CHF? I know Celery is good for lowering blood pressure.
