Had a routine blood test for done and have been notified of high level of potassium in the blood. I eat fruit smoothies every day made with both oranges and bananas would this cause the blood test to show the level? Apart from that I am well and fit.
am seeing the GP tomorrow just wanted to put mind at rest if you know what I mean especially when normally, any high levels could indicate kidney damage.

I am on a potassium supplement along with numerous diuretics for Cardiomyopathy. I recently had my potassium tested and it was 4.7- I have heard that 3.5-4.5 are the normal range. My cardiologist is going to check me again in 2 weeks but did not change my potassium dosage. I am having pvcs, which I usually do anyway, but wondering if they are up because of the high potassium.

were 1.0 which is very low, don’t know why. I was told I had a panic attack, I say no. Was on Paxil for the last year for panic, I am almost off it, I am tapering I am down to 5 mg. I have watched my diet eating more potassium rich foods and have not had a problem since. Did I have a heart thing?I don’t think it was panic. I think I had a panic attack because I was having a heart issue. What do you think?
I was 38 at the time and not really overweight, 148 5 4". I dont know why it was so low, not on any meds at the time. Now on BP meds and my BP is okay like 125 / 85 , not perfect but I’ll take it. I do like to drink beer at night, but not like I drink a 1/2 a case or anything. Maybe 5-6. I do eat though, could that amount of beer depleet mt potassium levels?

Folks in our town believe that eating amorgoso or ampalaya would make blood pressure high, that is why they recommend it to anemic people. Is this true?
