What are some healthy ways to begin losing weight?

so far from what i have found, green tea is good for you as well as fiber rich foods and raw fruits and veggies and consuming less then 1500 (don’t know the word sorry) of sodium, and not starving yourself. any good ideas? what has worked for you or others? any good websites? exercises? (i walk a lot but what else is there?) help me if you can…

Started yesterday afternoon. I was lifting upper body and while I was lifting I was feeling pain in my quad. I kept trying to stretch but it didn’t go away. When it got home it was killing me so I drank about 120oz of water. When it didn’t go away I took some advil and tried to fall asleep. When I got up it felt fine. Then I went to the gym to play some basketball. Once I got warmed up (barely broke a sweat but my heart rate was starting to elevate) the pain came back. I decided to just play through it cause I wanted to play. So when I finished I drank about 200oz of water and it didn’t go away. It’s definitely not dehydration my pee is clear as water and I’m peeing like once an hour. So this morning I had a banana with breakfast and I’ve continued to stay very hydrated. I had another banana with lunch (potassium). However, I just did some jump roping to try to elevate my heart rate before stretching out and it came back. It’s very painful and seems to come from elevating my heart rate. What can I do to make it go away/keep it from coming back?
I wouldn’t say I’m too active for my leg. That would imply that I wasn’t active before. There was no increase in activity and no increase in intensity (recently). That’s why it really baffles me. I have no idea what could be causing this. (I went to the gym again last night and it happened again)

Which food has the highest amount of potassium?

Which foods has the highest amount of potassium?

I have lost quite a lot of weight recently and have been having pains in my heart, could be due to a change in my potassium levels. Am i at risk of a heart attack?i am 29 years old.

I have a whole house Waterboss 900 water softener system. I am using sodium chloride pellets for the unit. The runoff from the regeneration cycle as it exits the pipe tends to build up on my lawn and is gradually killing my grass. I’ve used potassium chloride as a salt substitute but that is now excessively cost prohibitive. I am also prohibited from extending the pipe as I cannot discharge the runoff onto a neighbor’s property. I am wondering if there is either an inline filter of some sort available which can capture the salt "in the pipe" or is there something I can put on the lawn to counteract the negative effects of the salt. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

are the most common ions dissolved in ocean water potassium and sodium?

Why are there warnings about a person with high BP using potassium chloride as a substitute for table salt?
Thank you, Luki. I would like more info if you can find that website.
