What happens when Potassium Cyanide comes in contact with water?
Hi, I’m confused about the reaction of potassium cyanide with water. I read some seemingly contradictory information. I read that it has a reaction with water to make hydrogen cyanide gas, but then I also read that potassium cyanide only releases a gas when it is mixed with an acid. Can someone please give me some accurate information about what happens when potassium cyanide is mixed with water?

Which vitamin/nutrition deficiencies cause brittle nails?
I understand that being deficient in certain vitamins / minerals / nutrients can result in dry, brittle fingernails. But specifically, which vitamins / minerals / nutrients cause this? My nails are very brittle so I want to ensure I’m getting everything I should be in my diet. I already know about supplements marketed as "nail/skin/hair vitamins" but I want to what component(s) of these is responsible for nurturing healthy nails.
Last year I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder/anxiety by my pcp. A few months ago I blacked out while i was?
driving home. I dont’ remember my entire drive to my house from work. a couple of weeks later I had a major emotional breakdown at work and could not calm myself down so i had to leave work and my mom picked me up from work. I was then refered to a psychologist. He said that I was fine. But wanted me to go to a neurologist. I went to the neurologist she ordered a bunch of blood tests, eeg, mri and neuropsych evaluation. The only thing that was wrong with my blood work was that my potassium was a little high and they are going to recheck within a month. The mri came back normal. the eeg showed that i had seizure activity while sleeping and awake. I was sleep deprived. Since then I have been put on medication for seizures. A couple of days after the eeg i had like a ringing in my ears and got real shaky. Last week I was in a patients room and he was talking didn’t want to be rude so i stayed in there as long as i could. My heart started pounded, started sweating and got really shaky and had a pounding headache. I then had to leave the room and went to the breakroom at work. I started shaking even worse. My coworkers said that they tried talking to me and i didn’t respond. I was completly aware of everything that was going on around me i just couldn’t respond even tho i felt like i could. I was so tired afterwords and was still a little shaky but also really hungry. I am so afraid that this is all in my head because they can’t figure out what is going on. The neuropsych eval said that my memory is great but they are going to do further testing. I feel like this is all in my head. I hate not having my license I just want them to figure out why these things are happening to me. Is it normal to be completly aware of what is going on around you while having a seizure I can still hear people?! Idk whats going on any help advice on how they read eegs, if this is a type of seizure that anybody has heard of before that would be great. the dr said possibly the emotional breakdown at work was a seizure because afterwords i was so drained. HELP ME PLEASE!

Concentration/Equilibrium Math Problem HELP PLEASE?
Gout-a condition that results in joint swelling and pain-is caused by the formation of sodium urate NaC5H3N4 crystals within tendons, cartilage, and ligaments. Sodium urate will precipitate out of blood plasma when uric acid levels become abnormally high. This could happen as a result of eating too many rich foods and consuming too much alcohol, which is why gout is sometimes referred to as the "disease of kings."
If the sodium concentration in blood plasma is 0.140 M, and K_sp for sodium urate is 5.76*10^-8, what minimum concentration of urate would result in the precipitation of odium urate?
