I am 20, and want to take them for years to come… i heard one-a-day women’s is a waste of money & time, i want something better…natural nutrition & vitamins i need for a stronger and healthy immune system for the rest of my life… i’m young and want to be safe about what i take as well
i just found out i was feeling bad and throwing up do to low potassium would this affect my baby?? im 30 weeks .
The doctor ran some tests on me the other day and the results made things really hard and confusing for me. I am hypoglycemic..and the doctor said my potassium levels are really really low..and I need to eat foods that will raise them. The only problem is alot of the foods that are rich in potassium mess with my sugar levels. I have two questions..one, what is the normal persons mg’s of potassium is needed? 2, are there any foods that will raise my potassium levels that wont really mess with my sugar? Any help will be really great right now thanks!
After being to the ER a few times because of a severe tension headache, i started getting these heart palpitations these few days. It usually starts happening at night when im about to sleep. My heart palpitates and its irregular, it goes fast and then slow, strong and then weak, etc.
The times i went into ER for my headache, they said my potassium was low and i was really dehydrated. I have started taking more potassium and drinking more water. Could low potassium be causing these heart palpitations? How much potassium should i be taking in daily? (I eat about 1-2 bananas and 2-4 glasses of orange juice now)
I did go to the ER for these palpitations. Did ekg, xray, and they monitored me for a while. They said nothing serious was going on, probably anxiety… i dont think i have anxiety. Im just trying to sleep and not thinking of anything. Can tension headaches cause these palpitations? Maybe the headache is making my body tense up?
I have been awaken up out of sleep while sleeping on my back and I’ve sat in a chair and these unbelievable pains will come out of nowhere. It is so painful I have screamed my bloody head of.One time my husband witnessed my toes being pulled in different directions.I don’t know what the heck is going on..I have eaten banana’s thinking it’s a potassium problem and it seems like they bring it on.I’ve asked my husband & son to bring me water. Is this maybe caused from dehydration or something. Can someone help explain?
Thanks folks for the sincere advices. I am highly obliged.
But, when I visit my physician, he looks very unsure at times. Besides, I think my BP (higher) problem was temporary (as I feel, but may not be true).
Moreover, I am afraid, I may develop some another problem due to side effects of these meds.
So, I am confused. I wanted an honest opinion from the one who might have experience of discontinuing these pills!
Again Thanks!
Why does Potassium react more Violently than sodium in terms of electrons ??
it has to have cocoa or chocolate pudding mix not choco syrup
preferably cocoa
and no peanut butter or other nut spread
skim milk
and preferably plain yogurt but it doesnt have to
and some nuts in it but they dont have to be in it either
honey can be in it too
and if u could id like the nutrition facts
the milk has to be plain milk too
no maple syrup either
a family member told me that she had been dilated to a 2 for weeks and her doctor put her on potassium… 4 days later she was in labor. I have been dilated to a two for three weeks and have thinned completely. but am not having strong enough contractions to speed up the labor process. my doctor scheduled my induction for july 3rd. Im really scared of being induced and have tried all natural remidies. I read on line potassium is important for balanced blood pressure and muscle contractions. any one have any insight?? could taking a potassium supplement hurt me or the baby?
