Anyone ever had low potassium?
I’ve been running alot for months now, but lately my calves have been killing me while I am actually running. A friend thought maybe low potassium could cause this? Anyone have a similar experience?

Yep i have a low potassium intake right now. I run distance in track and i got a calf cramp a week ago, but i was stupid and kept overly running so i ended up straining it. Right now i am not allowed to run for a few days but my trainer told me to eat lots of bananas and drink 8oz of G2 Gatorade per day, along with drinking lots of water, heating it, and stretching.
No but just make sure to drink gatorade and eat a bannanna which is high in potassium. If you still have a potassium deficiency and are still getting cramps get potassium pills
Yesss! My foot kept cramping up. My coach was like "are you getting enough potassium?" i was like, whats that??? lol. but now i eat a banana a day–helps a TON!
and you dont get as many sideaches either
(potatoes are good too)
