Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc Vitamin Supplement and SVT Tachycardia?
Been taking off and on a Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc Vitamin Supplement to help with my food metabolism and for countering my SVT Tachycardia. I have taken taken this stuff somtimes with regular magnesium pill, plus at times a multi vitamin. Now before I begain taking this supplement, my heart would go up and down on accasion, and now it seems to be doing so a little more offten.
To my complete shock I found that the amount of Calcium per 3 caplets is 1000 mg and the Magesium is 400 mg.
Can taking too much Calcium and Magesium actually hurt someone with SVT Tachycardia?

Well sure you can take too much of Calcium and Magnesium. You can take too much of about anything. I recommend you talk to your doctor about this matter, as the amount you should be taking depends on many factors. The most important of which to consider is the medications you take. As some medications may be affected by taking these supplements
Have you had any blood work done to see if the magnesium level in your blood is normal and whether you even need to be taking this? The calcium is not too much - 1200 mg per day is recommended for adult females. Ask your doctor about the magnesium because this is a measurable blood level and you do not want this over the normal range.
Anything you are thinking about taken should ALWAYS be cleared with your doctor. Yes….these things can have adverse effects.
