Anyone ever had low potassium?
I’ve been running alot for months now, but lately my calves have been killing me while I am actually running. A friend thought maybe low potassium could cause this? Anyone have a similar experience?

What would lead to muscle cramping rather than muscle twitching after overexercising due to low potassium levels?
Exactly what makes up the difference between a cramp and muscle twitching??
I have been trying to cook for someone, but her appetite is low due to her age and a number of illnesses. She’s more inclined towards fried meats, but that causes detriment to her health. She’s an asian and prefers "asian food" in general, but is not above trying "western foods"
Is there a general guideline to work with?
I hear that creamy foods are generally out for aged people due to their palette right?
I have been having a problem with low blood potassium and I am seriously short of breath with little or no exertion, so are they related?
I have been told that my potassium level is low, what type of health problems can this cause? I have also experienced my heart feeling like it skips a beat or two or pounding out of my chest. I have tried to change my diet but it always feels low, what are the long term effects form it being low?
I did ask my doctor, he hospitalized me and couldn’t find the reason. I have to see him again next week. My god why do people find the need to answer just to be RUDE!

I think 1 banana for breakfast
Add 1 banana to your lunch
and add banana to your dinner as well as some spinach
Would that be enough? Can you also have a test done by a doctor to check your potassium levels.
(If someone has a potassium deficiency and is trying to maintain a healthy diet to make up for the amount lost due to being a celiac. )
