Low potassium!!??
I am nearly sure i have low potassium levels so do i need to see a doctor about it? Also this is a bit of a weird question but is low potassium something a person has for life or like an illness that goes away?

i went to the doctor yesterday morning because i was experiencing dizziness. they drew some blood and told me i had a low potassium level. they told me to eat bananas and green, leafy plants. they also said to drink gatorade. i really don’t like any of these things. any other suggestions?
My mother was told she has low potassium levels. She has to go get more bloodwork, but I was wondering what the treatment is for this? Are there certain foods to avoid? I have checked out webmd, but I want to hear from people who suffer from this. Thanks!
Have kidney disease and need to develop a low potassium diet.
She takes more salt than anyone I know and if she is eating chips she salts each layer liberally. She cannot eat food without salt. Could this have contributed?
A doctor wants my friend to come in because her levels of potassium are high and her levels of sodium are low. She salts everything and does not understand how her levels of sodium could be low.
