I’m a high school student and I’m doing a presentation about how college students eat healthy on campus and so my thesis question is basically, what are the obstacles that college students face when eating healthy on campus? I have some ideas already, for example busy schedule, lack of money, and stress. But I need more ideas becuase I need to write a three page essay on it also. I really would appreciate it if you can share some of your ideas. Thanks in advance!

My diet is very low in potassium and the supplements I bought have only 99mg of potassium. Can I take more than one, maybe even three?

I buy them on my breaks at work..I only get 15 min at lunch time. What about like fruit to go bars or something?
My motherr got all peeved that i survive off of nutrition bars and said that I probably have the liver of a 70 year old man…

Hi, my name is Emily. I’ve been recording what I eat, drink, and how much of it on fitday.com. I’ve looked at all of my nutrition information, and since I take a multivitamin I consume a sufficient amount of all the vitamins. However, I only get about 70% of the daily recommend intake of potassium. Could this be harmful to my health? Are there any potassium supplements I could take?

I’m going on a trip this summer for 3 weeks out east (I’m from BC) and I’ve recently started doing an hour of cardio everyday, as well it eating healthy. But I’m afraid this trip will mess everything up. Unfortunately, there won’t be much cardio machines, we will be eating out a lot. Can you please give me any suggestions on how to keep my exercise and healthy eating going throughout this trip?

I am thinking of starting taking some nutritional supplements but I cannot find any reliable-looking website that provides reviews about the various brands and information. Is there a controlling body in the UK for nutrition supplements/multiviamines?
P.S. A friend recommended me solgar products but I would like to double-check the product’s reputation and history before I start using them preferably from an orthodox-medicine website. Any relevant information or personal experience will be greatly appreciated.

The normal range of Potassium in the body is a very small window and supplementing to much can cause an imbalance. Also, too much Potassium can react in a negative way with prescription drugs and other medications. Trying to find out what is safe to combine etc…

Potassium is supposed to be good for hypertension, but the potassium supplements provide only about 3% of the DV.
