I eat healthy and I have tried stretching more. Even with more stretching my legs started cramping a couple of minutes into class. Do I need to take some sort of potassium supplement?
Thanks for all of your answers. I recently started going to the spin class, have only been three times. I’m sure I will get this figured out soon. Thanks again.

I take vitamins with a potassium supplement daily. These spasms are in both legs from my thighs to my toes. They happen both day and night. Most often just the front of my calf. The pain is indescribable and I have tried massage, walking it off and heat. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I have spinal stenosis (lower back) but I’m not sure if this is a contributing factor. Just started getting this bad a couple of days ago.

1 Men’s health formula multi vitamin tablet,
1 D-3 400 IU tablet,
2 100 mg. Korean Ginseng capsules,
1 Cranberry Fruit 1,500 mg. soft gel which also contains vitamin C,
1 Folic Acid 400 mcg. tablet,
1 C vitamin 500 mg.
And I also drink a small amount of apple cider vinegar each morning. And I drink a very small amount of extra virgin olive oil, a very small amount of it.
I also drink a cup of kava kava tea every day, and I’m thinking about drinking some chamomile tea.I also eat a banana for break fast, and usually a hamburger for lunch with cheese and mayonnaise on it. I’m trying to lose weight. Some times I also drink a diet poweraide that is supposed to have all the vitamin B complex in it. And I drink plenty of water.
Does this sound healthy? And can you give me any tips on dieting? I want to eat more leafy greens like spinach because I’ve heard they are one of the best things to include in your diet. I also sometimes but some lemon juice in my ice water, but I don’t have any at the time.
I’m on some psychotropic medication, and one anti depressant, and a muscles relaxer, and ultram for back and knee pain. But it’s not a controlled substance yet. And I take all of my medication like I’m supposed too. I’m just wanting to make sure my liver, kidneys and heart are healthy.

Is it only certain vitamins that are stripped of their value due to coffee? Right now I take Omega-3 (fish and flax), Biotin, Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, A multivitamin, Omega-3 for my tear production, Lysine, and a Potassium supplement.
I also eat really well but I’m afraid that when I combine Broccoli or Salmon with a cup of Joe I’m missing out.

I know i’m allergic because my throat gets tight and I can feel it in my stomach. Is a supplement the best way or is there another food that contains potassium?
