Potassium Questions Archives

My husband has high blood pressure and been prescribed Crestor & Micardis. But, due to high costs, we are unable to afford his medications. What are YOUR food suggestions? Everyone always say "diet and exercise" and we know that. My husband does not have a problem with his weight. He's 38 years old, 165lbs., 5'7" tall. He's still muscular (somewhat) due to years of body building. His siblings (all under 45 years old) & parents are all under medication for high blood pressure & high cholesterol.

Please suggest me best way to control High BP, Cretina and protine?

In an experiment to study the reactivity of a metal with oxygen, we need to use potassium permanganate to provide oxygen. But before that, we should heat the metals then followed by heating the potassium permanganate. Why?

My mom and dad suffer from high blood pressure, high cholesterol. It run on both sides of the family, that along with diabetes and heart disease. My mom started taking blood pressure medication young,in her later 20's. My dad suffered from a stroke due to high blood pressure. I am 22yrs old and do not want to suffer this especially while young. Are there any ways I can be proactive about not suffering from those conditions now and later on in life being that it is hereditary? Or do I not have a chance in preventing it?

When potassium permanganate and glycerine are combined, it eventually results in smoke and pink fire. Why the lag time?

Potassium Site and Blog Updates

Hey everybody,

As you can SEE and tell from the recent changes this week I have totally revamped the entire eat potassium rich food site and have add this here fancy blog.  Here, you’ll find constant updates from me and some friends (I’ve had to ask for more help, because I just can’t communicate to so many men and women in this little health niche of ours all by myself!  ;) and we’ll be expanding on more health topics that I keep getting questions about regarding establishing a healthy diet and regulating your own personal healthy eating guide for YOU in your life, depending on your tailored needs, current medical condition and / or health goals and aspirations.  Man, oh man that was a long sentence!  Whew…

You’ve also been sending me a TON of questions about products you’ve either bought somewhere or are looking to buy, or have seen a health site somewhere in cyberspace and have asked for some help to figure out if it is legit or not, so I’ll be addressing that too - hopefully ALL of it.

But, I have only so much time, and these questions and necessary answers keep pouring in like there is no tomorrow.  If you have any suggestions for new topics that I am not (yet) covering or talking about, please leave a comment below.  I’ve got some cool resources and free stuff lined up for you this coming month, so be sure to check back often and see what’s going on.

I’ll talk to you again soon.

Apparently testimonials on his website verify that these 3 simple exercises work. I am interested in other people that have had success or no success, as I am a 42 y.o mum of 6 and seeking natural means of lowering high BP. Have had fluctuating BP readings over past 2-3 years. Am currently trying special diet and exercise regime, no caffeine and 3-4 litres of water daily, as well as specially made herbal remedies.

My mother has extremely high blood pressure. Last night she went to the hospital with 233/100. They got it down using Cardizem, and prescribed that to her. She’s been on a bunch of different pills over the past few years.

She lives in rural West Virginia, and the doctors there have not really been, shall we say, the cream of the crop, so I’m not sure how up to date they are with the available medicines.

She’s 68 years old and she is a heavy smoker, but otherwise has great mobility, still drives, etc. (And she’s a very good cook!)

Thanks,
John
