I am doing a demo. The demo I have to do is drop a gummy bear in potassium. I was wondering why does the gummy bear start going all crazy and what is happening when it is going crazy.

Last year, my high blood pressure was 130/90. I don’t know what that means. Now the doctor said that I have my high blood pressure on 130/100. Can anyone explain to me these numbers?

Thanks folks for the sincere advices. I am highly obliged.
But, when I visit my physician, he looks very unsure at times. Besides, I think my BP (higher) problem was temporary (as I feel, but may not be true).
Moreover, I am afraid, I may develop some another problem due to side effects of these meds.
So, I am confused. I wanted an honest opinion from the one who might have experience of discontinuing these pills!
Again Thanks!

I’m otherwise healthy, currently have a UTI and the nurse said my blood pressure was high, 133 over 95. How high is that? Something to be overly concerned about, or is it just a little high?

1. why the potassium manganate has to be acidified before performing the titration between potassium manganate and ethanedioic acid (oxalate acid)?
2. why does sulphuric acid is used instead of hydrocloric acid in Question 1?

My aunt has high blood pressure and high cholesterol but she was taken off her blood pressure pills but she is still on her cholesterol pills. She is retaining a lot of water in her ankles so she wants to take Diurex. Is it safe to take with her cholesterol pills wiht them or no? How much water should she drink with it?
Also what are some other things she can do beside the pills to get rid of extra wate rin her body?
Also, when should she stop taking the pills?
