Low Potassium question?

I would say close to 2 months as i moved out of my parents into my own place ive had a horrible diet. Fast Food, Top Ramen (39 cent dry fried noodles) and even lack of eating, 2 small meals a day. Hardly any fruits, vegetables or meats (that arent processed). I was diagnosed with mono on the 4th of march so ide say over a month ice had mono. The mono test now is negative so its gone. Ive been having odd symptoms like (Headaches, forgetfullness, memory loss, confusion, Buzzing in my head, slight dizziness, muscle aches and spasms, my legs feeling restless, joint aches and slight chest pains) on the 4th of April i went in for a check up on the mono, they said it was negative but i had low potassium, which is not normal for me. Im assuming because of my poor diet. The doctor told me id didnt look to be dangerous but to change my diet and eat more fruits and meats, foods high in potassium. So lately ive been eating as much better as i can, 2 bananas a day staying more hydrated and ive noticed my muscle aches and spasms and leg restlessness has improved drastically. But im still feeling the head aches, head buzzing, confusion, memory loss, i think my vision is a little worse as well as my hearing. How much longer can i expect these symptoms as my diet gets better? Are they permanent? I feel a little depressed and fatigued and just not my self. I was very inactive while i had the mono so the last few days ive been back on my bike. Any info would be great thank you.

Year-round hayfever symptoms led me to take some food sensitivity testing. The results indicated that I am intolerant to citrus fruits and lemon in particular. My own subsequent avoidance testing suggests that even minimal contact with anything lemon or lemon-scented causes me to sneeze so its not just foods but toiletries, washing up liquid, bleach etc. I still have some symptoms and think its because I have not yet eliminated all sources. Just this week, I realised that I wheezed after brushing my teeth and noticed that my minty colgate toothpaste actually has potassium citrate in it.

why does my baby break out when eating fruit?

Whenever I feed my 4 month old baby banana or apple baby food, she gets a facial rash, and today I saw she had little tiny red bumps all over her torso after eating apple baby food. Is it b/c of the potassium? If I feed her 1/2 the jar, she’s fine but if I feed her the whole jar, she gets a rash. There are no other symptoms, and she doesn’t seem to be sick. She does fine with pear baby food & vegetable baby food. I know to ask my baby’s doctor, and I am going to the next time I see him. I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience and what caused it? Thanks.

Potassium Deficiency while pregnant?

I am 22 weeks pregnant. I found out that I was pregnant when I was about… 16 weeks (don’t ask how I went that long without knowing… I didn’t have regular periods and I am a bigger girl). The only reason I found out that I was pregnant is from a trip to the ER. I ended up being pregnant and having a potassium deficiency. I am having the same symptoms I was when I got sick, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this during their pregnancy.
I’m not asking what I should do to raise my potassium, I am wondering if it is a common thing during pregnancy…
Also.. what does my age and and whether the father is someone I love or not?
Also, I am taking prenatal vitamins. Thanks for all the responses!
Again.. with the father questions… and the age thing… I AM married to the father…. and I am 22 years old. Not that it has ANYTHING to do with the question that I asked…..

in other words low magnesium and potassium

We were at school when she became paralyzed, unable to speak, and spasmed. She was tested and found out she had very low potassium levels. She purges at least daily, up to 3x a day. Drinks fairly heavily, daily. She started taking a potassium supplement but has felt the symptoms return. Can anyone give me any medical information? I have read up on affects of low potassium. Just would like as much info as possible, thank you so much.
I know you’re kind o a big deal, but, dummy….it’s cause she pukes em up

please explain seperately

P.S, yellowing of plant, scorchings r symptoms but not effects

What were your symptoms? Have any of you had normal serum levels of potassium and took a supplement and ‘cured’ some of your symptoms? Thanx cause I’ve got twitches and other symptoms.

Ok so I take this medication that lowers my potassium usually with a potassium supplement of 300 mg
this morning I saw that I finished the supplements yesterday, instead of skipping the med that lowers my potassium I stubbornly took it
now I’m paying for it….
It’s 5:23 in the morning and I’ve been awake for about half an hour with horrible leg cramps
I know it’s my potassium because I felt more symptoms like nausea and weakness throughout the day
what I wanna know is if there’s any way to get rid of these pains….
I tried massaging my legs and it makes it worse
I’m afraid that if I try to stand I’ll really screw myself up
please help :\
