i am doing a school project and i am researching potassium chloride. i really dont see a difference in the morton potassium chloride pellets and the potassium chloride that is injected to stop the heart during a lethal injection. does anyone know?

A crystal of potassium manganate was placed in a beaker filled to 3 quarts with water, to see how fast diffusion would take place. It was noted that the occurence (of diffusion) was rather slow. If it were placed in a vacuum the particles would move faster, why?

I was analyzing a salt in chem lab, and out of 2 guesses my professor told me that potassium was the cation. The anion has to be CO3, SO4, PO4, Cl, or I. Which of these is NOT soluble in water?
