Does potassium help with cramps in extremities?
I can't eat bananas, which contain a lot of potassium, because they give me a rather harsh stomach ache. My friend, who was a Naval medic, suggested I buy potassium pills to relieve the random cramps I get in my hands and feet. I drink plenty of water, so I don't think that dehydration is the issue. Any advice?
I'd like to say that I knew Greens would help my K. But thanks fot the answer.

Please clarify yourselves.. An acute potassium loss causes generalised muscle cramps, BUT BUT all muscle cramps are not caused due to potassium deficiency..!! Remember this..
Second fact, Banana is not the only fruit which is rich in potassium.. All the green leafy vegetables, and most of the fruits are rich in them.. Banana is one of them..
Potassium pills are unnecessary for anyone who has food every day normally.. If taken can cause lethal effects, Do not take it.. They are meant for some other purpose, not for u..!!
Take a short course of multivitamin, have a nutritious diet with lots of fruits and vegetables.. Have a healthful regular exercise.. And u will be alright..
