The heart cell needs Na Cl and K to "trigger" the heart beat.
The potential difference between the OUTSIDE of the cell and the INSIDE is supposed to be 0.003volts.
When this potential is reached, the heart cell "twitches" and the heart beat is produced.
If your ‘electrolytes’ are low - I do not know the exact amount - the there’s no "potential" in the battery…you have no heart beat.
This can happens because of dehydration, dieting, sickness, etc
Normal level is 3.5 to 5 though I don’t have any idea about fatal level.
Anyway, it’s good you’re alright now. I wish you live a long life.
