I am supposed to take 30 mEq of potassium. How many 100mg pills of potassium is that?

My prescription potassium isn’t in yet and I bought some potassium supplements over-the-counter

That would depend on what form the potassium is in. If it is potassium bicarbonate, then 100 mg of that is 1 mEq of potassium, so you’d have to take like 30 pills. If it is in the form of potassium chloride, for example, then 75 mg is 1 mEq and you’d have to take about 23 pills to get your 30 mEq.
Dude, probably not a good place to get such an answer. I have no idea, but whatever best answer you pick as best, be sure to ask the drug dealer in the white jacket before munching on some potassium. I don’t know ya but I’d still hate to hear you o/d on Pt.
