I have one week before swim practice starts, and I want to start eating some foods that will help me get ready?
I am going to take a potassium supplement but I still need additional sources for potassium to avoid cramps. I was wondering what other foods can help me?
Besides pottasium,just more protein and carbs?

Carbs should be a major portion of your diet. Ex. spaghetti, bread.
Eat a high amount of protein. Ex. chicken, tuna, egg whites.
Sources of potassium: potato, peaches, avocado
bananas are an excellent source of potassium.
BANANA’S they have a lot of potassium and are very good for you.
Bananas and broccoli are packed with potassium. Be careful to take some sodium too, or high potassium levels can cause issues with the firing of your nerves. Another way to prevent getting tired is to eat foods high in carbohydrates, like pasta, etc.
bananas and broccli have lots of potassium, but you will also need extra protine because swimming builds lots of muscles so eat lots of lean meat as well.
eat bananas, gatorade and powerade have some potassium but not much, raisins, unsalted nuts.
