I'm considering a calcium supplement,Do I need Magnesium to go along w/ it? When I'm already taking Vitamin D
I’ve just recently been taking Multi-Vitamins, Fish Oils, CoQ10, Folic Acid, & Vitamin D. I’m not very familiar w/ most of them & just recently heard Calcium would be another great add on to my daily supplements; however I’m reading that Calcium makes you constipated & Magnesium helps the Calcium break down. I’m also reading that Vitamin D does the same, at least that’s what I think it’s saying. I just don’t want to spend the money on Magnesium when I don’t have to, I’m already spending a bob or two on the other stuff!. I need advice from someone who’s very familiar w/ nutritional supplements.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Men dont need that much calcium compared to women. id say dont take neither. just take ur daily multi vitamins, fishoils and protein shakes if u live a healthy lifestyle and have a workout routine set up. but if u really really wanna take that much supplements id say talk to the person that sells them at the store.
Why don’t you just get a good multi vitamin to take daily. That should give you 100 percent of your daily needs. Unless you have special needs, that is all your body requires. Good luck my friend.
Tums Extra Strength has 600mg of calcium and u only need 2 tablets dailly.
