Is a 100mg potassium supplement enough potassium for the day?
Thanks for the quick response! The reason I am taking potassium supplements is because I’m allergic to pretty much every food that contains potassium. My only alternative seems to be a supplement. Thank you!

you get 806 mg from one serving of banana, 1600 from a serving of baked potato, and 727 for avocado, and nutrients from food are better absorbed, plus, especially with the avocado, you get lots of other super healthy stuff along with it. Potassium supplements are usually not recommended because if, for some reason, you absorb too much at once, potassium overdose can cause heart problems (says my doctor).
