My mothers potassium level is constantly low. Is this a sign of possible cancer?

In and of itself, no. If it is low consistently though, she needs to be taking supplements. Eat bananas and such, drink gatorade, take a multivitamin, ect
I have never heard of this as an indicator of cancer. My potassium is frequently low and I have to take supplements. Tell her to eat bananas and orange juice too!
I have never heard of it as a sign of cancer. My husband, who has cancer, however, has problems with his and often has to be infused with potassium and magnesium.
Why would you suspect it a sign of cancer? Are there other issues going on? In all cases, your mother should be under a doctor's care. Low potassium needs to be remedied.
I wish her health.
