		<description>Too much potassium is not good, just like too much of any mineral can cause a deficiency in other minerals.  Balance is key.  If you are eating the typical white, blanched table salt like the Morton garbage sold in Mausoleums where dead food is held in state, throw it out and preferably to a toxic waste dump.

That salt is heated to 1,100 degrees, all the minerals removed, and then chemicals added back to make it more marketable.  It is total junk and should not be consumed.

Why would you ever want to substitute good salt with anything?  Because you heard salt causes high blood pressure or some other myth?  Salt is where the body gets the CL- ion to make your stomach acid that sanitizes the food as it enters your stomach and aids in the digestion of proteins in your stomach.  It is necessary for good health.  What you want to eat is &#34;air dried sea salt.&#34;  That contains lots of electrolytes and is very good for you.  You should eat about 1/4 teaspoon of air dried sea salt with each quart of water you drink to properly hydrate your body and give it the necessary electrolytes you need each day.  The potassium and sodium pump in your body is a balanced system if your body is healthy.  The potassium combines with the stomach acid to remethylate your cells and will keep you young.  Eating potassium rich foods is the best way to accomplish this.  The air dried sea salt has potassium in it.

The so called &#34;RDA&#34; for foods is all made up stuff.  The cofactors of all food is just as important in regard to balance in the body as the RDA junk.  If you get enough calcium in your diet and satisfy the RDA thing, you may still be deficient in calcium because the cofactors may not be there to support the digestion of calcium.  Same thing with taking potassium.  Bananas have lots of potassium in them and if you eat bananas and also lots of potassium salt, you could upset the sodium / potassium pump relationship.  Sodium puts nutrients into cells and potassium takes the nutrients out, basically.  Water is a nutrient.  If you eat organic food, you have a much better chance of actually getting minerals.  The typical store bought fruits and vegetables contain very little minerals now.  This is due to the way food is chemically fertilized.  It looks good, but very little food value compared to what food is supposed to have.  Many oranges, for instance, do not have any vitamin C in them now.  They are tasteless and very little juice.  They are just a bunch of chemicals that look like an orange.  We have lost about 50% of the antioxidants in our food supply in the last 25 years.  If you focus on what labels say, you will go bonkers because those labels are assuming incorrectly, the nutrients that are supposed to be in food.  Do you actually think that manufacturers or the FDA measures the nutrients?  And what are they measuring, dead chemicals or once living sources.  A huge difference.  Eat lots of the sea salt (air dried) and you will get the potassium &amp; sodium you need in good balance and adequate quantities.  For every quart of water you drink, eat 1/4 teaspoon air dried sea salt and you will be doing really great.  A great &#34;pink&#34; sea salt that is a combination of Hawaiian Red and Mediterranean sea salt is at:  (800) 370 - 3447.
