Depends upon your work. If it is a desk job, no problem. If it involves straining and manual labor, no go.
However, the hospital is not a good place to be having this managed. This is not what they are good at doing. You’d be much better off in the hands of a primary care provider in an office setting. This is what they do, and they are good at it.
This is an alarmingly high BP, which is putting you at serious risk of all sorts of bad things!
I’ve included the American Heart page on BP.
g’luck!
Absolutely not. I would say until you can get your blood pressure lowered try to do a little walking and watch your diet very carefully. Also if your up to trying it… buy some garlic capsules!!! Best of Luck
Blood pressure above140/90 is considered as high blood pressure but does not require hospitalization & even can be cured by changing lifestyle & eating habits. If your work require physical activities then, you should not do it with such blood pressure as rest is very much essential You should contact the Doctor & follow his advice but if you feel that you do not want prescription medicines lifelong and can change lifestyle eating habit & can do regular yoga then you can gradually reduce your medicines which you are taking.
definitely not,you can get a stroke or a mild heart attack
