Krogers sells low sodium type of food, they are with the regular foods, soy sauce, campbells soups, sphagetti sauce, hunts, all types of canned veggies. Generally speaking you should try to cut back on packaged foods and eat fresh and that way you can control the amount of sodium you take in. Diet rite drinks are also very low in sodium. Mortons has a low sodium salt (not that great, expensive) Mrs. Dash has several different seasonings you could try. Best of luck, it’s a hard transistion to make from salt laden everything to watching the amount you take in.
nothing specific, but health & natural foods tend to be a little lower in salt
i would suggest checking out Whole Foods, they have a lot of amazing foods, many which are low in sodium.
Don’t eat packaged foods.
Anything that is pre-prepared, processed, packaged, cured, canned, pickled, frozen is going to be too high in sodium. Even foods of this kind that say they’re low sodium aren’t low sodium enough.
You have to learn to eat fresh and cook from scratch. Find out from your doctor what the maximum amount of sodium you should take in each day is.
Try a health food store. Since you live in a big city, there are likely to be several. Check your local phone book.
