Last Dr Appt before induction tomorrow, high BP, what do you think?
I am going to the Dr to schedule my induction tomorrow morning. My blood pressure has been on the rise and on monday it was 154/94. Do you think they might induce me a few days earlier than not due to this?

I was induced 3 weeks early because of high blood pressure. It depends if the think the baby may be in distress because your blood pressure can affect that. Also with my BP they said it put me at a risk of a stroke so the sooner the better. So I guess I am saying that it is a good possibility. Especially if you talk to you doctor about your concerns.
They might, for your health and the baby’s health U have to be safe during these times. Just think of it this way. If they induce you, you get to see your baby’s beautiful face for the 1st time and it won’t matter if he came on his own or the dr.’s time. =D
yep, they are gonna schedule a c-section
KNowing how induction happy some doctors seem to be, they might. But mine got high in my last pregnancy and all they did was monitor me. I had a VBAC so no induction - they let me labor on my own and I was totally fine. I had no other symptoms, BTW.
I was induced at 38 weeks due to preeclampsia and my blood pressure shot up to 155/112. I got induced the day after that appointment. They might induce you earlier depends on how your appointment goes and usually IF there is an opening at the hospital when your doctor is on call. But if it gets really bad by tomorrow morning, they will probably bump you to asap.
Don’t worry everything will be fine. Don’t listen to anyones induction horror stories. Whenever you do get induced don’t forget your chapstick!
