Muscle spasms (intermittent)?
I’ve been having intermittent muscle spasms for a little over a week. 25/M. They’re not painful but they do cause anxiety. I haven’t changed my diet, and believe I’m getting enough electrolytes/calcium/potassium. I take an adult multivitamin as well. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your answers so far. The spasms occur in my arms, legs, hands, neck, and sometimes in my face.

were are the muscle spasms?? Alternate heat/ice a few times a day. Rest the area were you get the spasms. Eat some bannanas just to make sure. Check to make sure you arent on any prescription medicines that can decrease you electrolytes. Once spasms are better, tone your muscles to help prevent from getting them. If no better or getting worse, see your doc
So the muscle spasms are wide spread? Maybe it isn’t a problem with the muscles but the nerve conduction to the muscles. Are you using alot of stimulants like caffiene or nicotine or something else? Do you have any family history of this type of problem? Do you have alot of anxiety or get nervous easy? This isn’t as easy of a solution than just one muscle spasm in the leg, need to see someone. Cant really say what is wrong over the internet.
I would consult with a chiropractor. You may need an adjustment.
Yoga, or at least simple stretching. Try moist heat. Maybe Biofreeze gel or something like it. Take a tennis ball, put it right in the middle of the spasm, lean up against a wall or on the floor & slowly roll over the spot until it stops hurting. If nothing else, see you doctor about a short term muscle relaxer: Flexeril, Soma, or Skelaxin. Good luck!
well, maybe u r going through pschological problems. or it could be that u work too much. anyway, its usually either calcium or sodium deficiency………but u say u take multivitamin. if the problem persists, go visit a doctor.
