Recently learned that High Potassium Level is high risk of heart attack. What foods do I have to keep away?
Bananas, green beans, oranges, and potatoes??? What am I really at risk with? What can I eat? Can I even go out to eat? Just flat out tired of getting sick everytime I turn around. And its usually because of something I eat. Any suggestions, please help…

Type in food rich in potassium and follow whatever comes up.
High potassium does not lead to heart attacks. There is no reason to limit the amount of potassium in your diet. You can eat many of those foods without worrying about going high. Your kidneys are able to secrete the necessary potassium that your body does not need
Patients taking diuretics that are potassium sparing or high doses of potassium supplements have to worry about it since having high levels of potassium in the blood leads to arrythmias which can lead to cardiac arrest.
first how to do you know your level is to high? I t takes a blood test to know.It can be very dangerous with out it also.
