vitamin/ nutrition supplement reviews and regulations?
I am thinking of starting taking some nutritional supplements but I cannot find any reliable-looking website that provides reviews about the various brands and information. Is there a controlling body in the UK for nutrition supplements/multiviamines?
P.S. A friend recommended me solgar products but I would like to double-check the product’s reputation and history before I start using them preferably from an orthodox-medicine website. Any relevant information or personal experience will be greatly appreciated.

Some of the websites you can find are either run by the companies that make the supplements, or they sponsor them, so you do get a biased view.
Try here…

You get unbiased advice and facts.
If you can, try and find a nutritional therapist that sells Lamberts supplements. They are one of the best I’ve come across.
Hope this helps.
This website is pretty good, it is a pay site but it also has some free info. They check to see if the ingredients and dosage listed on the label are correct. It often isn’t

Solgar is a good brand. So is Viridian. I’ve used them both and they have a good reputation from what I’ve read.
Here is a good website http://www.theaimcompanies.com me and my family all take their products, and have no complaints so far about them.As a matter of fact a kitten wandered onto their property malnurished and abused we gave it a little barley green (one of their products) and they still have her to this day, healthy and running and playing all over the property.
Higher Nature are a very good brand and Viridian too - i think its a case of researching the brands people recommend.
