technically you don't take Vitamin A, you normally take Beta Carotene.  If you're sure your vitamin is really Vit A, then I suggest you switch to a better quality vitamin.

Iron does have a toxic level, but it's very hard to hit especially for women as their period reduces their iron levels.</description>
