What can i do to begin having the habit of eating healthy?
I don’t know if that is the right question, LOL. What I mean is I want to start eating healthy like vegetables and fruits, but I hate eating them. I’m 13, and every topic I read about there is always something about eating healthy. So I’m wondering if there are any tricks that I can do to either fight the bad taste or not taste it at all. I want to actually eat the vegetables and fruits.

well, your taste bud aren’t used to them so they taste weird to them. You need to train your body. And if you keep telling yourself you don’t like them - you’re not going to! Just remind yourself of all the benefits of eating fruit and veg, and when you take a bite, close your eyes and savour the flavour and realise they aren’t that bad at all. You could try putting low calorie sauces on top of your veggies for a while. I remembered when i hated all veg, but i used to force myself to eat them by putting mint sauce over them. Now i absolutely LOVE veggies, and it’s my favourite meal!
Tell your parents you want to start eating healthier is one. I’m sure they’d be more than happy to oblige. Upon that stick a list on the fridge of healthy things you like to eat and have them get it. For example. I love Kiwis Broccoli Asparagus and Fish. (That’s not the whole list, but my top favorites)
Have them buy the produce from your local farmers market or organic supermarket.
Things my mom and myself have learned to stay away from are white bread, anything microwavable (easy mac, frozen microwavable meals, etc..). And believe it or not. Salads. Yeah, you think it’s healthy with just being lettuce and what not. But lettuce is mainly water, and your watery vegetable isn’t as healthy when you pour the fattening dressing on it to make the bland appetizer taste better. Stay away from Salads because of the dressing (and on a side note Mayonnaise) because they’re both loaded with fat.
Also, stay away from stuff that has something called Monosodium Glutemate (MSG) in it.
There is a big variety of fruits, blue berries, straw berries plums and grapes etc. in season. You may be able to find a few you will like.
You can add these fruits to yogurt and eventually develop a taste for them.
But the trick is to eat small portions, with greater variety.
