What do you get when potassium chloride reacts with water?

And what is this process? Disassociation or ionization?

You get a solution of K+ and Cl-
I call it dissolution. Not disassociation (dissociation?) because there were no specific bonds. Not ionisation because I prefer to reserve that for loss of electrons.
Simply a solution of Potassium chloride.
