What foods are considered brain foods?
I have a standardized test in 3 months which I am now preparing for. During my class I took to prepare for it they suggested eating an equal amount of carbs, protein, and unsaturated fats. Also foods high in potassium. Pretty much brain foods.
So far on my list I have:
Fish and other sea foods
Whole Wheat Pasta
Whole Wheat Bread
Eggs
Avocados
Bananas
Kiwi
Mixed nuts
I’m writing out recipes so my mom can make more brain food meals during the next 3 months.
Are there any other brain foods?

Pomegranates!
Some of the dumbest jackasses I know, eat fish every day.
Let’s face it, either you have a brain or you don’t.
All the brain-foods in the world won’t make an idiot smart.
What these industries are selling the public, I’m not buying into.
Suckers need only apply. Same with the vitamin industry.More junk.
Total nonsense.
Also anything with Omega 3 essential fatty Acids such as Salmon or foods packed with Anti Oxidants such as blueberries, Black Tea, green Tea etc…
Eating those foods and getting lots of exercise will stimulate blood flow to the brain. Ginkgo Biloba also helps with blood flow to the brain. I guess standing on top of your head will stimulate blood flow to the brain as well. Another food would be fresh spinach. It has almost all the vitamins and minerals your body needs. Good Luck!

Brain foods
Our food choices affect our brain in many ways: our moods, how well we sleep, our thought processes, our memory, our ability to process information and more. Here’s a list of some great brain foods and the brain-boosting nutrients they contain.
•Oats/Oatmeal: Known as “grain for the brain”, since ancient times, oats, say nutritionists, are a storehouse of energy and nutrition and provide for excellent brain nourishment. Fiber rich oats can you energised throughout the morning as these are rich in vitamins B, E potassium and zinc which help the brain and body to function to optimum levels.
•Brown rice: Brown rice is a known brain food, as it contains the perfect mix of carbohydrates and fiber to fuel your brain while keeping you feeling full. Brown rice is also essential for maintaining concentration throughout the day and improving memory.
•Chocolate: Dark chocolates have compounds that boost your brain’s performance levels; dark chocolates are rich in antioxidants and contain several natural stimulants which increase the production of endorphins while enhancing focus and concentration. Dark chocolates also release dopamine, to enhance cognition and mood. So binge on dark chocolates and improve the health of your brain!
